DCCW Convention is May 16-17- The annual Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women Convention will be held May 16-17 at the Austin Marriott North in Round Rock. Father Paul-Michael Piega and Cheryl Maxwell will be the keynote presenters on the theme of "Renewing our Faith." Women from all parishes are welcome. Natural Family Planning (NFP) Seminars are open to anyone within the Diocese of Austin. In the introduction session you will:
•Understand that NFP is fertility awareness
•Hear how simple NFP is and what it is like on a day-to-day basis
•Discover that NFP is 99% effective at postponing pregnancy
•Receive a signed certificate that you can present to your priest or deacon indicating that you attended the session.
Introductory seminars are structured to satisfy the Austin diocese requirement for marriage preparation for all parishes.

Baby clothes needed -The Gabriel Project Life Center of Catholic Charities of Central Texas serves hundreds of
families each year. They educate families on nutrition and child care and provide material items for women and their
children who are in need. With the hot summer months coming, they are in need of children’s clothes from newborn

.Several parishes of an active texting scam targeting pastors and parishioners. In the fraudulent texts, the pastor, mentioned  by name, asks for donations of gift cards. Please be aware that this is a scam and do not respond. The Diocese of Austin and our priests will not solicit donations in this way.

Summer faith classes offered online-Throughout the summer, the diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis is offering a variety of courses to serve the needs of Catholic school educators, parish catechists, youth ministers and anyone who wants to learn more about their faith. Topics range from Sacramental Theology to Ecumenism to Christian Leadership. Courses feature instruction by experienced trainers and include printed materials and books for students.
