  • Weekly Reflection:
  • An action motivated by hate or revenge is never positive. The Law of Retaliation, “an eye for an eye,” was intended to set a limit on revenge. Jesus instructs his disciples to interrupt this cycle of
retribution. A disciple’s motivation must be love, never hate or revenge. Jesus is inviting us to conversion. It is easy to love those who love us. Jesus asks us to love those who do not love us and even those who hate us or harm us. Why? Because God does, and he calls us to strive for holiness and
    perfection.

Weekly Collect:
Grant, we pray, almighty God, that, always pondering spiritual things, we may carry out in both word and deed that which is pleasing to you. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Collect Semanal:

Liturgy of the Hours-"Praying the Breviary"

"Seven times a day I praise you, because   your judgments are righteous."  PS 119:164

“From ancient times the Church has had the custom of celebrating each day the liturgy of the hours. In this way the Church fulfills the Lord’s precept to pray without ceasing, at once offering its praise to God the Father and interceding for the salvation of the world.”
-Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship
