Weekly Reflection:
Have you ever been reluctant and afraid to do something someone is asking you to do? This seems to be the case with the disciples in the Gospel today. Jesus reassures them that people may ignore and reject them but that God's love will always sustain them. God calls us to proclaim the Good News of His love and salvation to all people and by our witness to be vessels of transformation. Do you encounter obstacles to sharing the Good News? How do you overcome them?

Weekly Collect:
Father, guide and protector of your people, grant us an unfailing respect for your name, and keep us always in your love. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Collect Semanal:

Liturgy of the Hours-"Praying the Breviary"

"Seven times a day I praise you, because   your judgments are righteous."  PS 119:164

“From ancient times the Church has had the custom of celebrating each day the liturgy of the hours. In this way the Church fulfills the Lord’s precept to pray without ceasing, at once offering its praise to God the Father and interceding for the salvation of the world.”
-Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship
