Weekly Reflection:
Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus. All that Jesus, the Word of God, does is an expression of the Father. Jesus does nothing on his own. Today’s Gospel says, “Whoever believes in me [Jesus] will do the works that I do, and will do greater…” The works of Jesus included welcoming, consoling, healing, loving, forgiving, breaking down racial and gender barriers and manifesting God’s presence in action and word. How are we doing the work of Christian discipleship? In what ways are we manifesting the presence of God?

Jesús no hace nada sólo.

Weekly Collect:
Almighty ever-living God, you constantly accomplish the Paschal Mystery within us, that those you were pleased to make new in Holy Baptism may, under your protective care, bear much fruit and come to the joys of life eternal. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Collect Semanal:

Liturgy of the Hours-"Praying the Breviary"

"Seven times a day I praise you, because   your judgments are righteous."  PS 119:164

“From ancient times the Church has had the custom of celebrating each day the liturgy of the hours. In this way the Church fulfills the Lord’s precept to pray without ceasing, at once offering its praise to God the Father and interceding for the salvation of the world.”
-Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship
